How do I link up with a mate?
Go to Profile, then Settings, then Link up with a mate. Send them your code (it looks like HX-7KQ2-M9PD) in any chat, or let them scan your QR. When they enter it, you're linked both ways.
How do I start a sesh?
Open Sesh and tap Create a sesh. Pick day or night, the date and time, where and why. You can invite people straight away or later from The plan.
Someone sent me a sesh code. What do I do?
Open Sesh, tap Join a sesh and type the code. You'll be linked with them and the sesh appears in Your seshes. Codes last 48 hours.
Why are Next day and Fill in the gaps locked?
They open when the sesh starts, at the time set in the plan. Until then they show a countdown.
When does a sesh go into Mems?
48 hours after it starts. Mems keeps who made it home, the gaps and the best line, on your phone.
I didn't get a notification from my crew.
Check that notifications are on for Hangxiety Society in your iPhone's Settings. Updates from your crew arrive while the app is open or the next time you open it. Never rely on a notification for anyone's safety: if you're worried, call them.
Does any money move through the tab?
No. The tab is notes between mates. Pay each other however you like, then tap Square up.
How do I block or report someone?
On your Crew page, tap them, then Block. They're removed from your crew, your phone ignores their updates, and they can't link with you again unless you unblock them in Settings. To report someone, email us with what happened. If anyone is putting you at risk, contact the police.
I lost my phone. Can you get my seshes back?
Sorry, no. Everything lives on your phone, and we don't keep a copy. Your mates still have the seshes you shared on their phones.
How do I see or delete my data?
In Profile, open Settings and tap the version line five times to open the health check. Copy all my data copies everything the app holds. Reset the app (tap it twice) wipes it, or just delete the app. Anything waiting in the postbox clears itself within days.
Does it cost anything?
No. Hangxiety Society is free, with no in-app purchases, subscriptions or ads.
Who can use Hangxiety Society?
Adults of legal drinking age where they live: 18 and over, or 21 and over in the United States.
